Breastfeeding is very serious issue of baby's health and growth. But, unfortunately the option of breastfeeding isn't open to every new mother. Some women can't or shouldn't nurse their newborns. The reason may be emotional or physical. The following are the common factors that can interfere breastfeeding to be restricted:-- .Serious debilitating illness (such as cardiac or kidney impairment, or severe anemia) But the good news to this particular issue many women are satisfying to leap this obstacle
- .Serious infection, such as active untreated tuberculosis .Here also ,after two weeks of treatment, breastfeeding should be okay.
- Chronic conditions that require medications that pass into the breast milk and might be harmful to the baby, such as antithyroid,anticancer, or mood-altering drugs, such as lithium, tranquilizers ,or sedactives.Also I want to insist,when you take any kind of medication please let doctor be informed and he/she will allow you to nurse your baby.
- Exposure to certain toxic chemicals in the workplace
- AIDS,or HIV infection, which can be transmitted via body fluids, including breast milk
- Drug abuse-including the use of tranquilizers, cocaine, heroin, methadone, marijuana, or the abuse of alcohol
- A deep-seated aversion to the idea of breastfeeding. Some women are unable to nurse because they feel uncomfortable but ,when this appears as practitioners we give them advice .
This is breastfeeding but also there's Bottle-feeding ,we are going also to learn more about it.
